The Mini K47 brings vintage-inspired tone into a modern, reliable package. Its heart is a 34mm K47-type capsule, modeled after the design found in one of the most legendary microphones ever made. Rather than chasing an artificially bright or hyped sound, this capsule produces a full-bodied, balanced tone that stays smooth and controlled up top.
On vocals, expect reduced sibilance and fewer distracting mouth noises. On high strings and electric guitar, the Mini K47 adds weight and character. Strummed acoustic guitars come through with less jangle and more musicality.
Roswell paired this capsule with a transparent, low-coloration circuit designed to let the capsule’s natural character shine through unaltered. Self-noise and distortion figures rival mics well above this price point, thanks to circuit refinements drawn from years of modifying and upgrading other manufacturers’ designs.
