Description
sE Electronics brought its live-sound pedigree to bear on the V3, a dynamic microphone engineered for musicians and engineers who need dependable performance night after night. Every part of its construction leans road-ready: a zinc alloy chassis, a spring-steel mesh grille resistant to dents and corrosion, and a beveled grille edge that stops the mic rolling off an amp cab or stage floor. A gold-plated XLR connector keeps the signal path solid for years of use.
Inside, an internal windscreen tames plosives and stage-fan noise, and sE tosses in a spare black windscreen for those who’d rather skip the signature red. The custom-voiced dynamic capsule uses a cardioid pickup pattern to reject spill from monitors and other instruments, giving you more gain before feedback becomes an issue. Neodymium magnets and careful manufacturing tolerances keep sensitivity and tone consistent from unit to unit.
A patented integrated shock mount separates the capsule from handling and stand vibration, so the V3 stays quiet even when performers move around with it. Whether it’s tracking a snarling guitar cab or handling a lead vocal, this mic adapts to the job at hand.
