This fixed cardioid tube condenser carries that same reputation forward, giving engineers a dependable, all-purpose tool that handles vocals, guitars, drums, and horns with equal honesty.
Inside the capsule housing sits a new old stock American-made 5654W vacuum tube paired with an all-brass K67-style capsule, while a Swedish Lundahl output transformer shapes the signal on its way out. Together these parts produce a balanced, non-hyped frequency response with a smooth midrange and low end that extends further than you’d expect from a mic in this class.
