Description
Designed to interface with Clear-Com’s Encore, i-Series, and ICS panels, the GM-9 gooseneck microphone puts a reliable electret condenser element exactly where you need it, at a fixed 9-inch (22 cm) reach. Its unidirectional pickup pattern is engineered to favor sound arriving from the front while pushing back on noise from the sides and rear, delivering greater than 6 dB of rejection between 100 Hz and 10 kHz. That off-axis rejection matters in busy control rooms and production environments where ambient chatter and equipment hum can otherwise bleed into open mic lines.
Connection is handled through a gold-plated, threaded, locking 3-conductor quarter-inch phone plug, a design choice aimed at keeping the mic firmly seated on the panel even in high-traffic setups where cables get bumped or tugged. A fitted windscreen ships with the mic, helping tame plosives and breath noise right out of the box.
