sE Electronics built the V3 by leaning on decades of feedback from touring engineers and bands, translating that knowledge into a dynamic mic that’s as tough as it is musical. It’s the brand’s answer to gear that has to survive real-world stage abuse without sacrificing tone.
- All-metal build: The body is zinc alloy with no plastic in sight, and the grille is spring steel that resists dents and corrosion. A beveled rim around the grille also keeps the mic from rolling off amps or stage floors.
- Gold-plated XLR output: Ensures a clean, loss-free connection that holds up over years of use.
- Internal windscreen: Cuts down on plosives and wind noise. A spare black windscreen ships in the box if you’d rather skip the signature sE Red.
- Custom voice coil & cardioid capsule: Delivers a smooth, natural tone across voices and instruments while rejecting off-axis stage noise for better gain-before-feedback. Neodymium magnets and tight manufacturing tolerances keep sensitivity and sound consistent unit to unit.
- Patented integrated shock mount: Isolates the capsule from handling vibration, so you can move on stage with far less rumble or thump making it into the mix.
