- Gold-Plated Capsule & Nickel-Plated Baffle: The element and brass baffle combination is tuned for accuracy and a notably quiet noise floor, translating to cleaner recordings with more usable headroom.
- Transformerless Design: Removing the transformer from the signal path further lowers noise and preserves presence, so the mic sounds open and immediate rather than colored.
- Switchable 80Hz High-Pass Filter: Flip between flat response and a low-end roll-off on the fly. This helps tame proximity-driven pops on close vocals and filters out rumble from traffic, HVAC systems, or stand-borne vibration.
