The Rycote InVision INV-7 belongs to Rycote’s InVision Broadcast family, a range of shock mounts made for on-camera and studio broadcast setups where a full windshield isn’t needed. Instead of bulk, it offers a slim, discreet profile that keeps focus on the shot while quietly doing its job.
At the heart of the INV-7 are Rycote’s Lyre suspension elements — the same technology used across their acclaimed shock mount lineup. These flexible webs isolate the microphone from vibrations traveling through cables, boom poles, desk stands, or handheld rigs, so your recording stays free of thumps, knocks, and rumble that would otherwise creep into the signal.
Versatile by design, this mount adapts to several mounting styles: fixed on a boom pole, clamped to a desk stand, or used in a suspended configuration, giving audio engineers flexibility across different shooting environments.
- Compatible with shotgun mics including Schoeps CMIT-5U, Audio-Technica AT4073a, Sennheiser ME66/K6, Neumann KMR81i, DPA4017, Beyerdynamic MCE86, and the Sennheiser MKH range
- Fitted with 2 x 19-25mm universal clips on a Standard 70mm-wide Lyre
- Long mounting bar with 70mm (2.75″) centres
- Standard Lyre width: 70mm; a smaller InVision Lyre width option (43mm) exists elsewhere in the range
- Mounting bar lengths available in Standard (25mm) or Large (70mm)
- A reducing sleeve (InVision INV-4) can be added separately to fit smaller mic bodies, such as the Schoeps CCM series, into the Lyre
