Description
sE Electronics built the V7 by leaning on decades of feedback from touring engineers and bands, applying that knowledge to their first foray into dynamic microphones. The result is a handheld that’s as much at home surviving a grueling tour as it is capturing a clean, musical vocal.
- All-Metal Construction: The body is machined from durable zinc alloy with no plastic components, while the spring steel grille resists dents and corrosion. A beveled lip around the grille keeps the mic from rolling off amps or stage decks, and a gold-plated XLR connector protects signal integrity over years of use.
- Custom DMC7 Capsule: An aluminum voice coil paired with neodymium magnets gives the V7 a crisp, open character that stays true to voices and instruments. The supercardioid pickup pattern tightens rejection off-axis, isolating your source from stage bleed and buying extra headroom before feedback.
- Built-In Shock Mount: A patented internal shock mount isolates the capsule from handling vibration, keeping low-frequency rumble and handling noise out of the signal path even when you’re moving around freely on stage.
- Windscreen Included: An internal windscreen cuts wind and plosive noise; a spare black windscreen ships alongside the standard sE Red for those who prefer a more understated look.
Included in the box: microphone, mic clip, thread adapter, black internal windscreen, and carrying pouch.
Specifications: Dynamic capsule, aluminum voice coil, neodymium magnet, supercardioid pattern, 40 Hz–19 kHz frequency range, 300 Ohms impedance, 2.0 mV/Pa (-54 dB) sensitivity, 3-pin male XLR connector, 54mm diameter x 184mm length, 305g weight.
