Its Variable-D construction keeps the tonal character stable as a performer moves around the capsule, avoiding the hollow or boomy shifts that plague many dynamics when a source drifts off-axis.
Noise rejection is built in at the hardware level: an internal humbucking coil cancels hum from nearby AC sources and lighting rigs, while integrated pop filtering tames breath blasts and plosives without extra accessories.
