Description
The TF47 channels the classic “German” sound heritage of the U47 and M49 into a modern three-pattern tube condenser. Rather than chasing a flat, neutral response, it leans into a full low end and a pushed-forward midrange, giving tracks depth and character right out of the gate. That tonal signature makes it a natural fit for lead vocals, guitar cabinets, and drums where you want the mic doing some of the tonal shaping for you.
Inside the capsule housing sits an all-brass K47-style element, paired with a new old stock 5840W vacuum tube and a custom BV8 transformer built to the same specs as the original found in the U47. Together they produce a punchy, warm output with an articulate top end that tucks neatly into a mix instead of fighting for space.
